Short Description
RemoBIF8+IE is a bed control interface for the wireless operation of electrically adjustable nursing beds.
The interface is supplied together with the Handset HS plus and forms a permanently matched system. Together, they enable the control of the backrest, legrest and bed height, either directly via the Handset HS plus or through external assistive solutions such as environmental control units (ECUs), AAC devices, RemoSPEAK EW and RemoBOW EW.
The system is connected between the nursing bed and the motor control unit and can, depending on the bed model, be operated in parallel with or instead of the existing handset.
Areas of Application
RemoBIF8+IE supports people with limited mobility in independently controlling electrically adjustable nursing beds.
The solution is suitable for use in care facilities as well as home care environments and can be combined with a wide range of assistive and communication solutions.
The Handset HS plus additionally enables direct operation of the nursing bed using large, easy-to-access buttons.

Note
The RemoBIF8+IE is supplied exclusively together with the Handset HS plus. Both components are designed to operate as a complete, integrated system.
The specialized dealer (system manufacturer) must independently verify whether the system consisting of the bed and the special control unit meets the required safety and performance standards.
The installing specialized dealer (system manufacturer) is responsible for properly documenting the combination of the BIF8+IE with the control system of the care bed. This documentation must, in particular, include which bed was connected, how the installation was carried out, and the date of installation.
